Thanks to Wiley X’s Filter 8™ polarized lens technology, the Wiley X polarized lenses will reduce glare off water and other light colored surfaces like no other polarized lens. The technology consists of 8 layers.

Wiley X polarized lenses are tested before they are even cut and carefully measured in order to maintain the best optical quality in the final product. Any other eyewear provider who tests and certifies polarized lenses must meet the requirements in EN 172 Clause 4.3.2.

Where sunglasses are fitted with polarizing filters, these shall be fitted in the frame so that the plane of polarization does not deviate from the vertical, or the nominal direction if different from the vertical, by more than +/-3° or 1,67%.
