Removable Side Shields
To install the side shields, align the circular plug on the removable side shield with the circular indentation on the temple. Next, rotate the side shield up until it clicks into place. By adding the side shields, an extra layer of protection is added to secure your vision, and with the side shields on, the eyewear meets the ANSI Z87.1 and EN.166 optical standards.
The side shields can easily be removed again. Simply pull down on the side shield to unlock and rotate downwards.
Permanent Side Shields
To install the permanent side shields, align the circular plug on the side shield with the circular indentation on the temple. Next, rotate the side shield up until it clicks into place. When in place, locate the circular plug included with your permanent side shields packet. The small, included plug must be slid into the hole on the temple between the opening in the side shield, for the shields to be permanently installed. By adding the side shields, an extra layer of protection is added to secure your vision, and with the side shields on, the eyewear now meets the ANSI Z87.1 and EN.166 optical standards
NOTE: The side shields cannot be removed once the plug is installed.
