Warranty & Repair Form

IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND DETERMINATION OF PROCEDURE

The first step in a warranty case is to determine what procedure to follow for us to service and assist you the best way. Therefore please read below and choose between the two listed procedures to follow:


1. PRODUCT PURCHASED FROM AUTHORIZED DEALER WILEY X  


2. PRODUCT PURCHASED ON WILEY X EMEA ONLINE SHOP  


Whether you fill either of the Wiley X warranty forms to your dealer, or if you fill out our Warranty & Repair online form, we ask you to read the following important points:


  • For warranty cases where the product is purchased from an authorized Wiley X dealer, the warranty and service case must also be carried out through this dealer.


  • Proff of purchase or copy of receipt is a requirement for ALL warranty cases to be processed.


  • When forwarding a warranty form (pdf) to the dealer , or when sending the Online Warranty & Repair form as an end-user, both must always be enclosed or uploaded with clear pictures to be able to do the identification of the damage and also the model. If the damage cannot be identified in the picture, the product must be sent to the dealer or Wiley X.


  • The Wiley X warranty does not cover normal wear and tear scratches on frames and lenses. It is also not covered for frames or lenses that have been cleaned in unsuitable detergents. We recommend lukewarm water or a definite/approved lens cleanser and the included cleaning cloth or similar textile product. Never use "paper" cleaning cloths or similour like cleansers from everyday household, due to that the papir fibers can damage the mirror, coatings or the lens itself.


  • LA ™ Light Adjusting lenses are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a maximum period of 18 months. If it is found that the change time or level of the lens color is too low, the molecules in the LA lenses can be reactivated by entering the product in the freezer for approx. 6 hours. This method boost can extend the life of the LA, color change function in the lens. However, there is no guarantee of this.


  • The 12-month warranty on prescription lenses expires if the RX lenses are provided by an unauthorized Wiley X optician or are made in RX lenses not supplied by or through the Wiley X EMEA company.

1. PRODUCT PURCHASED FROM AUTHORIZED WILEY X DEALER


Please bring your Wiley X product, proof of purchase and the filled-out Wiley X warranty Complaint form (PDF) to the Wiley X Dealer where you purchased the product. This helps the Dealer and makes the processing of your warranty case as good and short as possible.

Your Wiley X dealer will then contact Wiley X and we will make sure to resolve the case and help as soon as possible.

Note:
If the complaint is not a warranty case and you just want to buy spare parts or similar these can always be ordered directly here at the shop for your Wiley X product under the Accessories section. However, it is a condition that the product/model is still in our assortment.

If it is an approved warranty case, the spare parts or similar will be sent directly to your Wiley X dealer where they will help you with the correction of/on the product.

In the event of an unapproved warranty case, your dealer will contact you and present you with a good alternative solution.

2. PRODUCT PURCHASED AT THE WILEY X EMEA ONLINE SHOP


If you have purchased your Wiley X product directly on the Wiley X EMEA LLC web shop, you must complete our Warranty & Repair Online form which can be found in the link below:

Once you have completed the online warranty form and attached your invoice or order confirmation, and
uploaded the pictures that clearly shows the warranty claim, you can expect a response to your warranty case shortly.

Spare parts, or to the replacement product, by an approved warranty case, will be sent directly to you, after we have been in contact with you via email or telephone.

In the event that we cannot approve your warranty case, we will contact you and help you with an alternative good solution.
