Description of our service
Wiley X webshops allow users to view product information, browse categories, search for products, add products to the cart, complete purchases, use relevant customer and payment functions, and contact Wiley X.
We work to ensure that these functions can be used by people with different needs, including users of screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification tools and other assistive technologies.
How we work with Accessibility
Wiley X continuously works to improve accessibility across our webshops. This includes, among other things:
- Making information about the webshop, products and purchasing process available in a way that can be perceived, operated, understood and interpreted by users and relevant assistive technologies.
- Providing text alternatives for relevant non-text content, including images, where this is necessary to understand the content.
- Supporting keyboard navigation in key functions, including navigation, product views, cart and checkout.
- Working with clear form fields, labels, error messages and instructions, so users can complete forms and make purchases.
- Working with sufficient contrast, readable text, visible focus indicators and a consistent structure across pages and functions.
- Providing information about the accessibility of products and services where such information is made available by the responsible manufacturer, supplier or other relevant economic operator.
- Working to ensure that identification, security and payment functions, when provided as part of the webshop, can be perceived, operated, understood and used together with relevant assistive technologies.
