COMM Temples
The very thin COMM temples offer you an extremely comfortable fit when wearing shooting earmuffs and other ear mounted communication devices. They are significantly thinner than the regular temples, making them almost unnoticeable and will keep you focused during a long day of wear. The thin design keeps your comfortable at any time.
Adjustable Nosepiece
With the adjustable, slip free, rubberized nosepiece you get a perfectly customized fit, no matter the size or shape of your nose. To obtain the perfect fit you simply squeeze the nosepiece as much as possible together and then slowly place it down your nose to your preferred position, securing you a slip free fit with optimal comfort.
Dynamic Ventilation System
With the Dynamic Ventilation System, you can control the airflow to your lenses and reduce fogging. On each side of the eyewear, you can click open the side vents to allow air to flow in behind your lenses. The venting system will create a circulation with double sided airflow and in this way clear any condensation, cool you down, and eliminate fogging for a clear view.
Click A.I.R Gasket
With the Click A.I.R. gasket technology, we offer you new possibilities and advantages. Like our regular Facial Cavity™ Seals, the CLICK A.I.R. gasket is designed to protect the eyes from irritants like dust and wind, by creating an effective foam barrier. However, with this design’s enhancements, the barrier can be unsealed to allow airflow. By a click of a button, the CLICK A.I.R. gasket (A.I.R. = Air Intake Regulation) is opened, allowing air to flow through the gasket and effectively venting the glasses and eliminating any fogging issues. Click open the ventilation or close for an airtight seal – the choice is yours.
Facial Cavity™ Seal
Fine dust and pollen, as well as wind, can cause long-term eye irritation, such as Dry Eye Syndrome. Peripheral light can also diminish optical clarity. The removable soft foam Facial Cavity™ Seals block out even the finest irritants and peripheral light, protecting the eyes and allowing polarized lenses to perform at peak levels.
Floating Facial Cavity™ Seal
Comfortable, removable, and durable – The floating Facial Cavity™ Seal will easily clip into you eyewear. This unique performance technology prevents your glasses from sinking, while also shielding your eyes from harmful and disturbing outside elements like wind, peripheral light, dust, and debris.
Rail Attachment System
The rail attachment system (RAS) is the perfect solution to integrate Wiley X goggles into your helmet rail system. At Wiley X we offer two different systems. One that fits the ARC rails and one that fits the rails of the Team Wendy EXFIL® helmets. Be sure to use the rails that match the rails on your specific, tactical helmet.
RAS - ARC Rails
The system includes two short straps with two rail attachment clips and two rail attachment bars to guarantee a perfect fit for most tactical helmets with Accessory Rail Connectors (ARC rails). Mounted to the sides of the helmet, the streamlined design of the ARC allows for the quick, easy, and secure handling of helmet borne goggles. The RAS clip has an easy click-on system for the attachment directly to a helmet. The system is designed to emergency release accessories at 8ft-lbs (11 Newton meters) of torque to prevent neck injuries.
RAS - Team Wendy Rails
The system includes two short straps. In the one end of the straps are the RAS buckles, which can easily be clicked onto the sides of the tactical goggle frame. In the other end of the straps are the integrated thumbscrews, which you screw into the helmet rail T-slots, meaning the slot at the back of the rail, for the attachment of your Wiley X tactical goggles to your Team Wendy EXFIL® helmet. The straps are fire retardant and feature an easy-use slider, so you can adjust the length of the strap.
