Our processing of your personal data is carried out based on Wiley X EMEA being hired to perform a task for you – The collection of data is necessary to do so.

 

3. Categories of personal data, including where your personal data originates from

While processing your request, we may have received data from you with your name, address, date of birth, e-mail, phone number, and IP-address.
The processing of personal data is based on the rule regarding balancing of interests. Wiley X EMEA’s legitimate interest in processing and storing your personal data is solely to fulfil a contract for you, wherefore we do not collect your consent to the processing about you with his purpose. 
If you have received eyewear with prescription lenses, an eye test will typically have been carried out. For all customer cases created after 25 May 2018, a consent form will have been signed, stating our permission to store the data in question, if either one of Wiley X’ options or service departments have carried out the eye test.

 

4. Recipients and categories of recipients, including transfers to recipients in third countries, including international organizations

4.1 To whom do we transfer your data?

To fulfil the contract with you, we transfer your name, address, and e-mail to the relevant third party. In your case, this would be Wølund & Wraae, Quickpay, Shamir, or OptikIT.

 

5. Storage of your personal data

5.1. For how long do we store data on you?

As a rule, we store personal data for 5 years after the collaboration has conclusively terminated, which is the period during which Wiley X EMA may be faced with claims arising from the fulfillment of the contract.
Personal data collected for marketing purposes for B2C-customers will be stored for 24 months after the customer has unsubscribed from marketing materials in the form of newsletters. 
Personal data collected in connection with leads for the purpose of establishing new dealers (B2B) will be stored for 12 months after the customer has unsubscribed from marketing materials in the form of e-mails in lead flows created for the purpose of sales contact.

 

6. Complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency

7.1 Your right and how to lodge a complaint

According to the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have several rights in relation to our processing of data about you. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact us.
